Is Being Overweight Bad For Diabetes?

According to recent news reports maybe its not all bad. Apparently researchers have said having a big bottom could actually help guard against diabetes. Surely a contradiction to what has been said in the past. However they found that the fat which settles on the curvy bums and pear shaped hips of people like Beyonce boosted sensitivity to insulin.

It, again according to researchers, regulates the bodies blood sugar levels thus lessening the chance of the disruption in its production and thus consequently lessening the chance of diabetes. Hmmmmm

The findings come from tests on mice at Harvard Medical School, Boston. Where researches hope trials on humans will have the same results.

I’m not sure where the researches found so many mice with big bums but if their idea idea of having a big bum is that of a mouse then maybe the human trials could be some what different.

Anyway research leader Dr Ronald Khan said “It’s an important result. Not only does it say not all fat is bad but it points to a special aspect of fat”
